"You're familiar with the old written law, 'Love your friend,' I'm challenging that. I'm telling you to love your enemies." ~~Jesus

Jesus challenges us to go beyond what the rules say. He knows we focus on "what the rule says" and then find loopholes. Religion is about loopholes. GOD is about real love.

Our mission, according to Jesus, is an extraordinary kind of love. Our love is to be like GOD's love. A love that almost can't be understood. A love for even our enemies. His Spirit makes it happen for us.

Do we have a passion for that kind of love? Will we live that out today?

Will I say to God, "I'll go. Send me."?

Isaiah was an amazing man of God. He stood in God's presence. He knew God intimately. One day he heard God say "Whom will I send?"

He didn't look around and look and see who he was talking to. God wasn't necessarily talking to Isaiah. God needed someone to go on a mission for Him.

Isaiah answered even though God wasn't talking to him. He was ready and had a heart to go.
And then I heard the voice of the Master:

"Whom shall I send?

Who will go for us?"

I spoke up,

"I'll go.

Send me!"
